The Toilet

If you dropped your pair of glasses in the toilet, would you pick it up? Yeah! Clean it up and use it again. What if you dropped a pair of contacts? in your own piss. a disposable one-day contact. Heck no! I could get another one just like that.

But God didn't just dispose of me, flush me down the toilet, and make another human. You know He could, just like that. But he picks me up out of crap, cleans me up, and then tells me, "You are the apple of my eye" (Zech 2:8).

How disgusting. Yet how wonderful. As Rihanna sings, "We've found love in a hopeless place." Man is but a fleeting contact lens (Ps 103:15), but God treats me like a prized possession (Eph 1:14), and He says, "No one can take you out of my hand." (John 10:28)

That's good. cuz I don't wanna go back in the toilet. Do you?

Make history. don't just live in it.
